Plastic Pipe Extrusion Molding Process

The extrusion molding process of plastic pipes is divided into three stages:

1. Plasticization of raw materials refers to the process of heating and mixing solid raw materials into a uniform viscous fluid through an extruder.

2. Forming refers to the process of continuously passing molten material through the forming head at a certain pressure and speed under the action of the extrusion components of the extruder, thereby obtaining a certain cross-sectional shape.

3. Cooling shaping refers to the process of fixing the obtained shape of molten material into a solid state (plastic pipe) through sizing and cooling treatment methods.

The above three stages are achieved through the main and auxiliary machines, also known as extrusion units. Specifically, Plastic pipe extrusion line main include: extruder, extrusion head, shaping device, cooling device, traction device, cutting equipment, and stacking rack etc.
